The Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute (CPPRI) is a national-level autonomous body established in 1980 under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Its primary mission is to advance research and development in the field of pulp and paper. The Institute is overseen by a Council of Association, headed by the Secretary (DPIIT). The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) is responsible for planning and monitoring research activities, with representation from various stakeholders including industry executives, associations, research organizations, and government officials. CPPRI RECRUITMENT 2023: MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE

1.	Sr. Scientific Assistant(SSA) PML-6	– There are 12 posts for SSA with an M.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks. The breakdown of reservations is as follows: UR: 5 (Including 2 EWS posts with horizontal reservation) SC: 1 ST: 1 OBC: 5 – Additionally, there are 5 posts for SSA with a B.E. (Chemical Eng.) or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks. The reservation breakdown is: UR: 1 SC: 1 ST: 1 OBC: 2 – No experience is required, and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
2.	Technician Group III(i) PML-5	– 1st class B.Sc. (Science) or equivalent with Chemistry as one subject. UR: 3 positions No experience is needed. Maximum age limit: 25 years.
3.	Technician / Group II PML-2	– SSC/10th standard with 50% aggregate marks. – ITI certificate of 2 years in relevant trade. – Open Positions: i) Electrical trade: 2 posts (UR-1, SC-1) ii) Fitter trade: 2 posts (UR-1, OBC-1) iii) Refrigeration and Airconditioning trade: 1 post (UR-1) iv) Electronics trade: 1 post (UR-1) – Additional Information: No experience is required. CPPRI RECRUITMENT 2023: EXAMINATION DATE & CENTRES

The OFFLINE Exam for December 2023 is tentative. If there’s a high number of applications, additional dates and time slots may be scheduled. Updates will be posted on the application web portal. Candidates should regularly check the website for the latest information or any corrections. The examination will be held in the following 4 cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Chennai.

CPPRI RECRUITMENT 2023: HOW TO APPLY ONLINE

1. Visit CPPRI’s website: https://cppri.in/
2. Click on “REGISTER” to enter basic information. Avoid using special characters.
3. The system will generate an Application number and password; note them down.
4. An email and SMS with the Application number and Password will be sent.
5. You can reopen the saved data using the Application number and password for editing.
6. Upload a photograph and signature following the provided guidelines.
7. Fill in the application carefully, as no changes will be allowed after submission.
8. Use “SAVE AND NEXT” to review and modify details before final submission.
9. Visually impaired candidates must verify and ensure accuracy before submission, as no changes can be made post-submission.

CPPRI RECRUITMENT 2023: PAYMENT METHOD

1. Payment of fees/intimation charges must be done online.
2. Fill out the Online Application carefully and click “FINAL SUBMIT” at the end.
3. Verify all fields before final submission, especially names matching 10th-class certificates.
4. Save entered data if unable to complete in one go, then Final Submit when ready.
5. Use the integrated payment gateway for the transaction process.
6. Payment options include Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and Internet Banking.
7. If the transaction fails, log in again with the Application number and password to complete or pay fees.
8. After a successful transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.
9. Print the e-receipt and online application form with fee details. If not generated, the transaction may not be successful.

CPPRI RECRUITMENT 2023: SCANNING AND UPLOADING OF DOCUMENT

1. Photograph:
   • Recent passport-style color picture.
   • Taken against a light-colored, preferably white, background.
   • Look directly at the camera with a relaxed face.
   • Avoid squinting or harsh shadows.
   • No “red-eye” if flash is used.
   • Glasses should not cause reflections; eyes must be clearly visible.
   • No caps, hats, or dark glasses. Religious headwear is allowed, but must not cover the face.
   • Size: 100-200 KB, 200 dpi. Dimensions: 139 x 179 pixels.
2. Signature:
   • Sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
   • The signature must be by the applicant only.
   • Will be used on the Call Letter and other necessary documents.
   • Match the signature on the answer script with the Call Letter.
   • Preferred dimensions: 140 x 160 pixels.
   • Size: 100-200 KB, 200 dpi. Dimensions: 6 cm (width) x 3 cm (height).
   • No capital letters.
3. Scanning:
   • Scanner resolution: Minimum 200 dpi.
   • Color: True Color.
   • File size as specified.
   • Crop the image to the edge of the photograph/signature in the scanner, then use the upload editor for the final size.
   • File format: JPG or JPEG.
4. Uploading:
   • Use the provided links for Photograph and Signature.
   • Browse and select the saved file.
   • Click the ‘Open/Upload’ button.
   • Application not registered without uploaded photograph and signature.
5. Check and Edit:
   • Ensure clear visibility of face and signature. Edit if necessary before final submission.
   • After registration, print the system-generated online application form.

CPPRI RECRUITMENT 2023: GENERAL INFORMATION

• CPPRI will not engage in correspondence with candidates.
• E-Admit cards are downloadable from the CPPRI website; no postal dispatch.
• Candidates must contact the help facility if they don’t receive their e-Admit card.
• Candidates must possess a valid photo identity card in original along with the e-Admit card.
• Acceptable identity proofs include PAN Card, Passport, etc.
• The name on the e-Admit card must exactly match that on the identity proof.
• Response analysis for pattern similarity; invalid scores may lead to candidature cancellation.
• CPPRI is not responsible for late submissions beyond their control.
• Admission is provisional, subject to verification of eligibility conditions.
• The decision on eligibility for examination is final and binding.
• The name on the e-Admit card may be abbreviated due to technical reasons.
• Possibility of exam administration problems; re-exam at CPPRI’s discretion.
• Communication is sent only via email/SMS, not through other modes.
• Mark sheets are not provided; marks are available on CPPRI’s website after the final result declaration.
• Canvassing or outside influence for selection is considered a disqualification.
• CPPRI’s decisions regarding eligibility, conduct, and assessment are final and not subject to correspondence.
• Candidates seeking reservation benefits must have valid supporting documents.
• Conviction for moral turpitude is disqualifying for appointment.
• Admit card issuance doesn’t confirm eligibility; not an employment guarantee.
